BOBO the circus clown

Somedays you just crack me up. The other day you decided that you were going to dress up like a circus clown. Not long after I got you into your costume Grandma Sheila called and wanted us to come and pick her us. You refused to take it off so I put on your shoes and loaded you up and away we went clown suit and all!!! Little Sabree wanted to try out your hair but as soon as she got it on she wanted it off!!

Super busy May weekend

We had a busy busy weekend around here once again. We went and got uncles RJ and Chase from Peck on Thursday. Friday you me uncles and grandma bonnie went down river looking for driftwood and rocks. You had a great time until about five minutes before we left you were running on the gravel and was going way to fast and tripped and really hit hard. Your leg is all cut up and your wrists. Your cried for a long time, I felt so bad for you. Saturday we had Tatianas Second birthday party out at spalding park. David Painted your face like spiderman and you ran around pretend spraying spiderwebs at everyone. That evening we went to your first demolition derby, it was rjs first one too. You guys really liked it and had lots of fun. At one point one car pealed out and threw mud all over us. You fell asleep about ten minutes before the end of it, your the only kid I know who can fall asleep with that much noise!

Busy Busy Weekend.

This past weekend we were beyond busy. Thursday we went and got the boys after school when we got back we played Wii for a few hours. Friday we went to Art Under the Elms at LCSC, it wasnt as good as years past but you had fun. They had a huge monster truck jumping castle that you and uncles jumped in for like twenty minutes then there was a free family play area thing where you spent time making a book mark, bowling over these small pins on a table, playing a ring toss game and shooting hoops into a basket. That afternoon we went to the Asotin Rodeo for the kids rodeo night, your cousing Jake rode a bull but he got bucked off. You were amazed with the rodeo clown josh sheppard. You always new where he was at in the arena and what he was doing. They had mutin' bustin' and you said that you wanted to come home and get your chaps and hat so that you could ride a sheep. Next year I think I will sign you up to do it, if you go thru with it is entirely up to you. It was freezing cold watching the rodeo but you had alot of fun. The next morning we got up bright and early to go watch the Asotin fair parade. You really liked it and was amazed by the fire trucks and the big stuffed dinosaur thing. After that we went over to the carnival and you and tatiana rode the car ride, tatiana cryed most of the time but you had a great time waving at everyone and driving. I then took you through the monkey maze which you really liked too. After we were done there we went to the Pro Rodeo, you again kept your eyes on josh the rodeo clown most of the time. After the rodeo we went down and walked through the exibits. You really liked looking at all of the animals. After that we went back to the carnival and played all of the carnival games. You hit the thing with the big hammer and won a huge sword. You then went to the ducky pond and picked a duck out and won a stuffed duck. The next day papa came and got your uncles early so we went up to winchester lake to fish awhile, there was still snow up there and it was pretty cold. After fishing for about a hour I finally caught a fish. You were up in the car though and didnt get down there fast enough and the dang fish jumped off my hook. I was really excited to catch one finally. It was a busy weekend for sure but you were a trooper and didnt complain a bit.

This evening you came up to me and said "Mom my tummy is hungry" and I said well what would you like to eat? You then held up one finger and said One chicken nugget with nothing else just a chicken nugget. I cooked it for you, then gave it to you and then you said that you wernt hungry anymore. Sheesh it only took it 35 seconds to microwave, you sure lost your apatite fast!

Viva Las Vegas

Well we have been home for two days now from our big week in las vegas! It was a fun time but very very busy! You were a trooper though, you were awesome all week long! We had a five hour layover in salt lake city and you didnt even mind it at all. They had a play area there so we spent most of our time there. We finally got into vegas about eleven that night, you got to go on your first taxi ride right down the strip, it was all lit up and beautiful! We did so many things while we were there, we got to go to M&Ms world, tons of the hotels, we saw lions at MGM there was even a area where you could walk underneath of them and see them through the glass, you thought that was really cool. We went to the mirage and saw the White lions and tigers, a panther, dolphins, a couple of jaguars and some more lions, you really liked all of them. We got to go on a monarail ride down the strip which was awesome. You spent alot of time in the midway of our hotel Circus Circus playing carnival type games. You got to experience your first public transportation, huge double deckers buses called the duce. They were awful, they cramed us in there like cattle. YOu didnt seem to mind though. We went and saw the pirate show at treasure island where the girls sink the guys ship, there was huge fireworks and fire you were kind of scared of it but for the most part enjoyed it. We spent one whole day in the adventuredome riding all of the rides, you loved the spongebob ride and frogger but wasnt to thrilled with the rest of them. We got to go down to freemont street and do the freemont street experience. It was awesome there are thousands of lights that are on top of the street kind of like a dome and there is music that goes along with them. We watched the eleven and midnight shows so you were pretty beat when we were done there. We got to spend time at the pools swimming and playing around which was fun until you cut your toe open and it wouldnt stop bleeding. You enjoyed riding up and down the escalaters and there were even ones that were horizontal. I am so thankfull for the stroller, we spent so much time walking around you were glad to be able to just plop down and have someone push you. I think that you had a really good time but you are really glad to be home, whenever we go somewhere you really miss you toys!!

Easter Time

Easter was a big day for you. You started off the day by coming out and seeing what the easter bunny had brought you. He spoiled you rotten this year, he sent brought you a new fourwheeler, a wheelbarrel full of goodies and a golf set. It didnt take you long to get your fourwheeler outside for a test drive. You love riding on it. We had a banana split party and a easter egg hunt, you picked up about three eggs and decided that was enough, you liked those ones. You spent the rest of the time jumping on the trampoline while everyone else looked for the eggs. You had a good easter even though you wouldnt sit on the easter bunnys lap.

You really got into dying the easter eggs this year, you spent time coloring on them with a white crayon and then dunked them in the dye all by yourself, you made quite the mess but had lots of fun

Yesterday I was getting your computer game for you when a couple of automatic windows popped up, you looked up at me and said "Get that crap off of there mom" where do you come up with these things I sometimes wonder. I guess you pick up on the things people say around you more than I realize. Yikes!

Creative days

Somedays we get way to bored around here and our creativity comes out. You decided that you wanted to be buzz lightyear and that I would be woody. So I made you a outfit out of some boxes, you loved it! You made me wear a hat and you wanted me to wear your cowboy chaps and vest but they are just way to small. We had lots of fun though.

Pancakes for breakfast

A few days ago when you were still being the rodeo clown the morning after you slept in your rodeo outfit to be exact I asked you what shape you wanted your pancake and what do you tell me..... A clown in a barrel of course. I thought oh great I do a pretty good cat and bunny but a clown in a barrel give me a break well guess what I pulled it off the first time and I have to say I think it looks pretty dang good myself! You gobbled it right down without even any butter or syrup on it and asked for another one.

The rodeo clown has returned

Yes rodeo rans its that time again!! Braden the rodeo clown has returned all ready for the rodeos to begin once again!
You spent the last three days dressed as the clown, you slept in your clown outfit one night. We refreshed your makeup every few hours. Today I made you finally take a bath and I am sad to say that your eyebrows are stained blue!! The barrel which has doubled as a toy box for the last few months has came out of retirement and is once again the best toy in the in house! You spend hours crouched down in it peering out of the peek hole and ever so often popping up saying here I am, once in awhile you throw in welcome rodeo fans. Flint Rassmussen is once again the best thing that ever walked on this earth. The DVD should be worn out as many times as you have watched it. I swear if I hear the song Cotton eye Joe once more I am going to stab my eye out. You cant wait for the rodeos to begin so you can sit there thru the whole thing watching the rodeo clown then you can come home and do whatever they did in your own barrel. I wonder if one day you really will become a real life rodeo clown........wouldnt that be something.

You sat buckled in the back seat of grandmas car with a big smile on your face while you waved and yelled by mom to me. This is how you reacted the first time I let you go anywhere without me. Yes I have left you at home with grandma before but she has never taken you anywhere on her own. I was scared to say the least. Yes I guess you can probably say that I am overly protective of you but really I am not. The occasion has just never came up where somebody wanted to take you somewhere without me going along too. Grandma took you and tatiana to the park and the baseball field. She said that you guys were excellent and had a great time running around playing. I was nervous as hell the whole time you were gone. I guess now that you are three years and five months old you can venture out into the big world without your momma as your papa keith puts it "I am gonna have to cut the apron strings at some point" I guess today was good as day as any.
